<@ErikMesoy>
There's something theatrical about logging into my rarely-used Gmail account for compatibility purposes and getting a security alert that a new device signed into my account, asking me to confirm if such-and-such device is known to me, and the security screen literally says "This device" as it gives me immediate access to confirm it was me as a result of logging in.

TheWatcher: I was revisiting some of my retro-Windows stuff and noticed it was misbehaving; I wanted to see what the best practices were in Win98 and also wanted to check in on its unaccelerated path for pixmap displays ("unaccelerated" but still Generally Fine, mind)
20:09
<&McMartin>
This was a cross-check against some other stuff I'd found online that was clearly flailing around a bit on the unaccelerated path.
20:09
<&McMartin>
But I'm also now curious if the unaccelerated path is even unaccelerated, these days >_>
20:09
<&McMartin>
The function in question involves stretching a Device Independent Bitmap into a rectangle, and it has the wonderful name of StretchDIBits
20:10
<&McMartin>
Which I assume is pronounced "stretch da bits"
