My current Ferus keyboard helpfully came with spares for arrow keys and WASD. I have now worn down the spares into illegibility. :D I am also starting to experience typing problems, and rpeatedly pulling out keys to clean their contacts. What brand would you lot suggest that puts out rugged keyboards for my next?

<~Vornicus>
my longest lasting keyboards have been a logitech and a microsoft.

Bog standard ones.

I am *still* using a black Compaq keyboard from... when there was Compaq, frankly

I use proper ergoboards when at work etc, but for home gaming, nothing has lasted so stridently.

Even the keys haven't worn off. I don't know why. Better paint?

I would have used my old laptop's keyboard if I could have usefully extracted it from the rest of the laptop, it was going pretty strong when I got this desktop setup.

<&ToxicFrog>
I would still be using my IBM keyboard if it weren't sadly and viciously loud

For nonmechanical keyboards, the Logitech K120 is dirt cheap and unreasonably good.

For mechanical keyboards, I have long been a fan of WASD keyboards.

<~Vornicus>
indeed the k120 is the one I am using right now
