<@Tarinaky>
I have an assignment I should do... So naturally I want to work on a different project :V
14:54
<@Tarinaky>
Does anyone know of a list of all the __[things]__ that apply to classes in Python?
14:54
<@Tarinaky>
I'm looking for something but don't remeber the name...
14:55
< Syka>
builtins?
14:55
<@Tarinaky>
Yeah.
14:55
<@Tarinaky>
I need a list of them.
14:55
< Syka>
docs.python.org
14:55
<@Tarinaky>
I'm looking there. It's being obtuse.
14:55
< Syka>
i think theres an article on classes
14:55
< Syka>
or builtins
14:55
<@Tarinaky>
More accurately, I'm searching that site with google.
14:56
< Syka>
if you go to builtins, then go to repr(), it should say it uses __repr__ with a link
14:56
< Syka>
to the article you are seeking
14:56
< Syka>
but i am on tablet so am only guessing
14:57
< Syka>
i do think it lists that in a builtin classes reference or something
14:57
< Syka>
anyway slep

I'm afraid I lack a reference point to know what the problem here is.
17:10
< AnnoDomini>
Is it the incongruence of pass 44% and no errors?
17:10
<@Tarinaky>
It probably shouldn't be farting weird characters everywhere.
17:10
<@Tarinaky>
I think that's the incongruence.

I still don't understand qubits at all. :D
20:45
<@Tarinaky>
The difference in (complex) phase between the two components of the vector contain the azimuthal angle /latitude
20:45
<@Tarinaky>
And the two components of the vector describe the elevation/longtitude.

<@Tarinaky>
Which gives you a direction/position on a unit sphere.
20:47
<@Tarinaky>
Which is the state of the qubit.
20:58
< RichyB>
so, if I have a qubit with state (1/â2â 0°, 1/â2â 90°)
20:59
< RichyB>
or (0.707 + 0i, 0 + 0.707i)
21:00
< RichyB>
|0.707i|**2 = 0.5, |0.707|**2 = 0.5, so the probabilities sum to 1, so it's a well-behaved qubit, right?
21:01
< RichyB>
for some reason the 90° angle between the two amplitudes turned out not to matter at all, which seems a bit weird.
21:05
<@Tarinaky>
RichyB: Yup.
21:06
< RichyB>
Were you saying yesterday that the latitude gets thrown away?
21:06
<@Tarinaky>

Okay so, I was mentioning earlier how I was befuddled at how this code passed any sort of muster at all. Just now I described to Vash: 1. standard practice in certain things, 2. how it was actually done in this program. I did not, at all, mention why that's standard practice, or what was wrong with the way it's done. ...she figured out the security issues on her own.
