00:22 * Vornicus derps.
00:24
<~Vornicus>
A planet knows how to render itself to a surface even without caring about its position.
00:25
<~Vornicus>
Then later we can position it on the overall.
00:25
< celticminstrel>
The overall? Sounds like a philosophical abstract sort of thing.
00:26
<~Vornicus>
the overall galaxy map, that is.

It's not installed with WINE. It's something that sits on one of the Windows partitions, and doesn't even need installing aside from unpacking.

<&ToxicFrog>
You said you installed it through POL.
17:11

Ok. I think you should just be able to tell it "install an unlisted application", tell it to create a new virtual drive, run notepad or something as the installer, and then when it asks you to browse to the EXE you want to run, choose the one on the windows partition for the already-installed program.
17:14
<&ToxicFrog>
Wine will see it running from Z:\something
17:16
<@AnnoDomini>
I see. I'll try that right after I make the Great Leap Forward (upgrading from stable to testing). Once all my backup operations finish.
17:18
<&ToxicFrog>
You could also copy or symlink the installed version into ~/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/<name>/drive_c/, and then tell it to look there (if it doesn't automatically detect it), which may be more reliable.
